The first Presidential Debate is scheduled for Wednesday October 3rd, at 8:00 PM until  9:30 PM  (CST) and will be hosted by Jim Lehrer of PBS.

It will be focused on domestic policy and will be divided into six-time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on topics to be decided by the moderator and will be announced several weeks before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond.  The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.

It will be held at The University of Denver, Colorado

I will be hosting a Google Hangout for anyone who would like to participate in a discussion immediately following the debate.  I will post a URL to locate it shortly before the debate.  Anyone is welcome and I would love to talk politics with you!  See you then…

Interesting to see what Romney comes out with–he has been spending more time preparing for debates than any candidate I can remember; suspect he will have all guns blazing

This debate will be very interesting, because Fox says that Romney should well prepared because he’s been debating more than Obama. I know Romney will choke at the Debate because without a teleprompter he can’t do anything, I can’t wait. How can you argue against the President’s Foreign Policy, when you never even had any experience out side of your own state of Massachusetts.
